FirstEnergy (NYSE:FE) stated Monday it named Brian Tierney as its new President and CEO efficient June 1, succeeding interim President and CEO John Somerhalder, who will proceed to function board chair.
Tierney joins FirstEnergy (FE) from Blackstone (BX), the place he’s the worldwide head of Portfolio Operations and Asset Administration for the Infrastructure group; he beforehand spent 23 years at American Electrical Energy.
Somerhalder’s appointment adopted Steven Strah’s resolution, announced in September, to retire as President and CEO.
FirstEnergy (FE) appears costly on valuation and its chart has turned bearish, Mike Zaccardi wrote in an analysis published earlier this year on Seeking Alpha.
